Environmental Challenge Fund
Stockport Hydro

We have been awarded £280 by Stockport Hydro from their "Environmental Challenge Fund". This will be spent on litter picking equipment, long reach grabbers, bin liner holders and high vis vests etc. I plan to buy small and large equipment so that it will be suitable for families, schools etc.
So the first question is can you start thinking of areas that are littered and need tidying up. Not just your official watch area but local parks & communal areas etc?
The second question is would anyone like to attend the award ceremony on Friday 15th March at 2:30pm with me? As I am a share holder of Stockport Hydro it would be better if someone else could accept the cheque on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch. You don't have to make a speech and you would get a free guided tour of Stockport Hydro, a micro hydro electric power station.
