Here is the weekly Key Crime round up for the period 16th-22nd May 2022.
First, news of an arrest, linked to the two attempted Burglaries on Moorland Road.
Patrols attended a report of males attempting to break into a house in Woodsmoor in the early hours of Wednesday 18/05/2022). Following a search, one male was stopped, searched and arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal and possession of drugs. He has been released on conditional Police Bail to reappear on 15t June to allow for further enquiries to be completed.

20/5, Male arrested at Underhill, Romiley, after making off from an outstanding stolen vehicle. He has been released on Police Bail, with conditions, and is due to answer bail on 17/06/2022 to allow further enquiries.
22/5, Male Juvenile arrested for going equipped to steal following a stop search on Overdale Road, Romiley at 22:39. Has been charged and released on Bail to Stockport Youth Court on 01/06/2022
23/5, 3 arrests early this morning, relating to the Criminal Damage and ensuing assaults on the park in Romiley. Interviews are ongoing
